On 11.04.2022, our universe collapsed, when we learned the cruel news, that it is possible that our beloved child, Victor, who rejoices every second with his big eyes and delicate smile, will never go, not he may be able to breathe on his own, or he may not wake up one morning.
Why? Because, at just 11 months, he suffers from SMA (spinal muscular amyotrophy), a rare genetic disease that attacks the nerve cells responsible for voluntary movements. Thus, as these neurons are destroyed, Victor loses the ability to make simple movements that any child his age can easily do.
The news came like a bolt from the blue, as if nothing had happened, and the only thing that mattered at the time was that everything was a bad dream. But it wasn’t like that, and all that matters now is that Victor is fine. And it probably will. With your help, the amazing people who join our journey every day.

Victor and his parents’ relentless fight against SMA inspired and united many Elrond community members. Builders, artists, projects, single contributors, and influencers rallied and formed the Victor League intending to help families financially with their children’s fight against the scourge of chronic diseases and conditions.
Victor League members (VML) can be any supporter willing to donate some of their time, skills and connections to participate in various ongoing projects and efforts.
